Honor the Special Lady in Your Life

Mothers' Day is Sunday, May 14. Not only do we celebrate moms on this special holiday, we pay tribute to all the women in our lives who have guided and inspired us, and helped us to be who we are today. Thank you, Ladies!

What better way to honor the moms and special ladies who've contributed to your life than to make a special gift in their name to Connections for Abused Women and their Children (CAWC). In making this gift paying tribute to this extraordinary woman, you will also be honoring and helping to support one of the CAWC mothers who is a survivor of domestic violence.

When you make your gift in honor of this great lady, you will have the opportunity to enter her name and a sentence or two that expresses your love and appreciation for this person. Your tribute will be published on CAWC's website and CAWC's Facebook page.

Make a gift to CAWC and write your Mothers' Day tribute. Mothers' Day tributes are posted below ...

Tributes to Special Women: We're giving in honor of my mom, Jeanie Swiontoniowski. She's one of the most selfless people we know, and we're sure she'll be thrilled her Mother's Day present will give hope and opportunity to those in need! Anna Swiontoniowski   As a former member of the CAWC Junior Board Leadership Team, this organization is extremely close to my heart. When I was younger, my mother was always involved at my school and within our community. She instilled in me, a sense of obligation to give back to those in need. My mom always supported my work with CAWC. During my tenure with the JB, we never missed the annual Mother's Day weekend fundraising brunch. It was something my mom and I looked forward to attending. In fact, she drove 5 hours (each way) to be there each year! The work CAWC performs is vital to the Chicago community, and I am honored to make a donation in her name --- Marilyn Theobald..
