The event also launched CAWC’s new name – Connections for Abused Women and their Children as well as its new tagline Rebuilding Lives, Renewing Hope.

The event planning committee consisted Alice Castillo, Kate Covington, Anna Debecki, Barbara Hoffman, Heather Lipscher, Maria Ocho, Jan Paul and Lynn Raymond.
The event raised over $180,000 to support CAWC’s life-saving services to thousands of domestic violence victims and their children each year.
