Join the Kitchen Table Collective

By joining CAWC’s monthly giving community, the Kitchen Table Collective, you can impact the life of a domestic violence survivor or a child who witnessed domestic violence.

What could your monthly gift mean to a family in crisis?

A monthly gift keeps the Greenhouse Shelter running.
Your monthly gift of $35 helps buy the essentials a mother and baby need during their stay at Greenhouse shelter.

A monthly gift provides consistent counseling for a child.
A monthly gift of $50 per month pays for four hours of counseling for a survivor who has experienced domestic violence.

A monthly gift keeps the phone lines open at the CAWC domestic violence helpline.
Your monthly gift of $40 helps keep phone lines open and cover the cost of additional demand.

A monthly gift helps prepare a survivor for cold Chicago winters.
Your monthly donation of $35 helps provide hats, gloves, scarves, and other winter essentials for domestic violence survivors.

A monthly gift gives transportation fare to survivors, allowing them to appear in court and seek legal protection.
Your monthly gift of $25 per month pays for transportation expenses for 12 survivors to access court services.

A monthly gift makes education a priority. Each month, your donation of $25 provides much-needed school supplies for a child staying a Greenhouse Shelter

Matching Gift

Contact your employer to determine if they will match your gift to CAWC. If they have a matching gift program, your gift could double or even triple in value. If you send a form from your employer to CAWC, we can complete the paperwork and initiate the matching gift process.
