It is with deep, heartfelt love that CAWC sends off Beatris Burgos as she retires after 37 influential years of servicing domestic violence survivors. A beacon of light and hope at CAWC, Bea became a built-in support system for shelter residents as they navigated the trials and tribulations of seeking safety and eradicating violence from their lives. It is never an easy journey, but Bea’s unwavering support and dedication to making a difference lit a fire of resilience within our clients and our communities.
