Through the Chicago Metropolitan Battered Women’s Network, Chicago-area domestic violence service providers come together to raise awareness about domestic violence, as well as money for the organizations. Funds raised help provide comprehensive programs and services for domestic violence survivors and their children.
Run DV Out of Town has a team of runners in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon, which takes place on October 13, 2019. October is Domestic Violence Awareness month. At this time, all slots are filled for the Marathon. However, we need runners for the Chicago Half Marathon/5K. This event takes place on September 29, 2019.
